Join us this weekend at the market for BBQ by Bob & Pat. The weather reports look good, low 80's. There will be loads of 4th of July goodies. Every week there are more tomatoes!
Here is a run down of the other produce now available at the market: there is still lettuce, kale, chard, mustard greens, onions, garlic, beets, turnips, cauliflower, broccoli, kolrobi, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, cabbage, radishes, pecans, honey, free range eggs, fresh cut herbs & BLUEBERRIES!
Also available at the market are naturally raised beef & pork. Home canned veggies like beets. Jams & Jellies of almost infinite varieties. Home baked breads, cakes and other sweets.
There are loads of plants including flowers, veggies & herbs.
You will also find homemade soaps, lotions and skin care products.
There are crafts that you won't find any where else. All hand made.
And we have 2 authors at the market selling their books along with their other products.
As always all items sold at the market are grown or made by the vendors selling them.

More and more produce is coming into the market. Last week we had our first tomatoes, ok so they were cherry tomatoes,  but they are still wonderful. We also had broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, cucumbers, lettuce, chard, kale, mustard greens, radishes, onions & on Wednesday we had strawberries and sour cherries. I know I have probably forgotten something.
Don't forget that this weekend is Father's Day. We will have a craft in the center for the kids that is free. There are lots of good father's Day presents at the market including Apron's for those grilling moments, hand made wood items, bird feeders, favorite jams, jellies and baked goods.
WE NOW HAVE A VENDOR WHO MAKES GLUTEN FREE PRODUCTS!

The weather should be beautiful, see you at the market.

Next week begins Wednesday market hours, 3 pm - 6 pm.
We now have a cheese vendor at the market, Cool Cow Cheese. There is plenty of produce at the market now including snap peas, lettuce, spinach, chard, onions, garlic, broccoli, kale & radishes.  There are still plenty of bedding plants to finish off the garden. The home made bread and baked goods are great with the home made jam & jellies we have at the market.
The market is open rain or shine! Most vendors are under a roof and out of the weather and don't forget that everything sold at the market is made or grown by the vendors themselves.

The  following Saturday we will be back at the market for memorial day weekend with Bob & Pat's BBQ.

Happy Mother's Day this weekend!
The market vendors are having a Mother's Day activity for the kid's this Saturday. You can shop while the kids plant a flower for Mom in the center of the market. All supplies are free! Flowers donated by Patchwork gardens. Thank you Tanya!
We had a nice BBQ & music last weekend. It was cold & dreary but not much rain. This weekend should be warmer.
There are plenty of bedding plants at the market, most are bigger than you can find in the store. Patchwork gardens has tomato plants that are 3 ft tall and have tomatoes on them. It's time to get those flower and vegie gardens finished.
See you Saturday!

This Saturday is Cinco De Mayo! We will be celebrating with Bob & Pat's BBQ & live music by Linda Jo & Don. We have had plenty of vendors with loads of bedding plants and other goodies including melt in your mouth lettuce and spinach. There is nothing like a spring salad with fresh picked lettuce and green onions.

If you come too early for lunch come for breakfast. I had some fresh made blueberry muffins last week that were awesome, and there is always coffee available.

Don't forget to check out our local book author Judy Huntley and her book about living in the Alaskan wilderness. She was featured last week in the Missourian.

Support your local economy, buy local!
The Market is now up and running for the 2013 season. Produce is starting to come in. Last week we had lettuce, spinach, onions & radishes. We also had free range eggs, baked goods, jams, jellies & canned fruits and veggies.
There  is a large selection of bedding plants including flowers, veggies & herbs. Many varieties that you won't find anywhere else.
This year we have pork & beef vendors, both have all natural meat.
There is a wide variety of great crafts this year, including jewelry, soaps, lotions, bird feeders, spring shawls and much, much more!
As always, everything sold at the market is made or grown locally by the vendors themselves!
